We would like to invite you to our free kids safety event:
Lowe's Annual Kids Safety Event will be Saturday, Sept 28th, 10 am-1 pm in the Lowe's parking lot at 1109 U.S. 72, Athens.
The free event allows children to meet & interact with city & county firefighters, sheriff's deputies, city police, rescue squad, ambulance & paramedics, EMA (911) team, and other first responders & explore some of their emergency equipment.
We will have games, activities, awesome prize giveaways, inflatables, live music & food---all free!
Special guest include Cornhole champion, Gabe Miller, (who will challenge the kids in cornhole games & also prizes for the kids)
Music performed by local artist Jeremy Ezell; special guest singers Lonnie Stewart & Doyle Kelley (from the Madison County Ramblers)
Bring a lawn chair, enjoy the music....and enjoy the food provided by Chick-Fil-A, Greenbrier BBQ, & Domino's...all free!
Our main goal will be giving away smoke detectors to families that need them.
We do this event in memory of Matthew & Andrew who lost their lives in a house fire. Come out & meet their amazing mom, Lonna...
who has made it her mission to show the importance of having smoke detectors in your home could save you & your kids lives.
It will be a fun day as well as informative.... and ALL 100% FREE!!
