According to TMZ, Randy Travis has quit drinking for good. His lawyer says Travis has “eliminated alcohol from his daily life.” Travis has been trying a healthier lifestyle by working out, taking daily vitamins and of course, putting down the bottle. Travis hit the studio last week in Texas and that has us all giddy that a new album is in the works!

The feisty country red head from “Malibu Country” and of course country music superstar, Reba McEntire, is gracing the cover of AARP magazine. The December/January issue features Reba talking marriage, friends, acting, and Dolly Parton!
When asked about being compared to Dolly Parton Reba said, “It’s not that I’m a better singer. Dolly is still my idol. I still have not passed her in my eyes.”
Reba also talked about her take on acting and what it means to her saying, “It’s something that’s wanted to come out ever since I was little, at playtime with another person. That’s what I absolutely love to do.”
