Benefit Singing, Auction & Dinner - The Gurley Lioness Club invites you out on October 4th to support Parker Allen. Parker is a young man of 20 years old whom was injured in a car accident at Auburn. He suffered damage to his brain and brain stem and is currently in a wheel chair and has regained very little bodily functions. The money raised will be a blessed gift to the Allen Family!

The Curious Savage - High Comedy in this tale of gred, insanity, hope, happiness, love and a one eyed teddy bear! Performances on Sundays October 5 & 19 at 3pm at The Appalachia Cultural Arts Center.

Blood Drive - In the Falkville High School Gymnasium on Tuesday, October 7 from noon until 6pm. As a donor you will be entered into a drawing for a $1000 gift card. Please remember to bring your photo ID.

Falkville Public Library Open House - is Tuesday, October 7 from 3pm until 6pm. Come out for refreshments and meet the library staff and Board Members! 

Buddy Walk – Fundraiser for B.U.D.S. on October 11th at Joe Davis Stadium from 10 until 2. Support and educate families of children with Down syndrome. Call Jenny for more 256-721-0994.


It's Time To Party - A High School Musical Fall Festival that includes exciting games, activities and more! It's Saturday, October 13th from 2pm until 6pm at Julian Harris Elementary!

41st Annual Special Olympics - at Milton Frank Stadium on Tuesday, October 14th. Come out and cheer on over 300 special athletes from the Madison County Area. Ceremonies begin at 9:30am...Let the Games Begin! Find out how you can really get involved and help improve their self confidence!
 

Ribbon Run – Liz Hurley supports breast cancer awareness month and so should you. Come out Saturday, October 18 and support the fight against breast cancer. Check out WAFF 49 for more info!

Golf Tournament - Grab 4 guys and join a 4 man scramble at Colonial Golf Course in Meridianville on Saturday, October 18! Registration is at 7am and the tournament begins at 7:30am. Your entry fee will include breakfast, lunch, goody bag and two drink tickets. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Call 479-2440 for more details. Night of Glitz - is a night for you to walk the red carpet, take in a Hollywood style fashion show and enjoy food and entertainment! Bring your glamourous self to The Huntsville Marriott on Friday, October 24th at 7pm. Tickets are just $25 and a portion of those proceeds benefit the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund.

Lying In State - presented at the Whole Backstage Theatre in Guntersville. Audition for this hilarious play from thursday, October 23 through Sunday October 26nd. Call 582-SHOW for audition times or visit the web.


Pancake Breakfast - Supports Child Advocacy Center of Morgan County. It is Saturday, November 8th at Applebee's in Decatur from 7am until 10am. Just $5 a ticket for pancakes, sausage and drink! All tips go toward stopping the abuse. The Point Mallard Figure Skating Club has made this an annual fundraiser visit their website to learn more!

Temp$ Weatherization Day - CASA volunteers weatherize the homes of clients by putting plastic on windows, insulating pipes, caulking breaches, installing smoke detectors, replacing storm doors and performing other small repairs on Saturday, November 1st.
