I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from Towson State University and worked in several places including Charlottesville, Richmond and Virginia Beach, Virginia before moving to the Tennessee Valley in 1992.

Among my many loves are my wife Karen (the apple of my eyeballs...woo hoo) and kids Eric (former US Marine now College student and Bass guitarist in the group ‘Ahead of the Wake’), Emily (Sophomore at UAB) and Daniel (massive football player with quick feet...for you scouts who might read this).  We have two dogs, our ol' white mutt named Cosmo who spends way too much time with his big head in our trash can looking for special treats and our newest addition Peanut the Bassett hound, who spends his days whining and wagging that big tail. My other passions include music, golf and napping.
Here is a picture of Peanut.

I was born in Montgomery, AL and moved to Huntsville as a young cub and have and will always call Huntsville home!  I graduated from Grissom High School and went on to get my BA in Communications from The University of South Alabama.  I don't remember much from college but I can tell you it was thirty minutes from the Redneck Riviera and only a couple hours away from New Orleans! Hidey Ho!  I've had a lot of crazy jobs all over the southeast before making my way back home. I've worked as a buyer for JC Penney’s, insurance, a TV morning show host, a weatherman, PR for CMT and then I made it to WDRM!  I love what I do and enjoy meeting so many people that make country music a part of their everyday life.  My greatest joy in life is spending time with my wife Julie and Kaitlyn (Little Dingo) and now our newest addition baby Kameron (littlest Dingo). They are my pride and Joy!  Kaitlyn is 12 and at the age where I embarrass her constantly.  Imagine That!  I look forward to meeting you all this year!  See you and See you soon!  HIDEY HO!!

VALLEY HAPPENINGS

Huntsville Police Fallen Officers Memorial fund drive

We've come a long way since the press conference in the
fall announcing the design and plans for the Fallen officers
memorial in Huntsville.  The artist has already begun the
design of the statues and funds have already been raised, but
we have a long way to go.  Check out the Huntsville police
departments website to see how you can help with this
great city project.

Win a million bucks on Super Bowl Sunday
Tuesday 09-30-2008 4:50am CT

YOU CAN WIN A MILLION BUCKS ON SUPER BOWL SUNDAY

To celebrate the Super Bowl last year, Doritos invited customers to create their own commercial to air during the big game.

This year, Doritos is again giving complete control of its Super Bowl ad airtime to its fans. But this time, the company is raising the stakes -- and offering a million-dollar prize.

Doritos will give the winner of their contest a million bucks if their commercial claim is ranked number one in USA Today's annual Ad Meter.

"We've always believed our fans have the talent and passion to compete at the highest level, and we are putting $1 million on the table to demonstrate our confidence and also help our winner fulfill their own destiny," said company spokeswoman Ann Mukherjee.

Check It Out: Details about the Doritos contest can be found here.
