Brad Paisley is swapping songs with LL Cool J. The rapper tells Radio.com they've collaborated on two songs - one which will appear on Paisley's new record and one that will be on his upcoming album.
He describes the Paisley track, called "Accidental Racist," as "very thought provoking and very interesting." LL Believes it will "get a lot of attention" but is reluctant to say more because he doesn't want to spoil it for everyone. The rapper doesn't name the track they recorded for his record, but says Brad contributes vocals as well as guitar. He also insists it's not a "a gimmicky thing."
LL explains that he let Paisley sing on something he felt the country star "would sound cool on," and he wanted Brad to play guitar on the track "because musicianship is a huge part of this record." LL Cool J's "Authentic" will be in stores on April 30th. Paisley's "Wheelhouse" will arrive on April 9th.
