Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" is off the stadium playlist for Penn State football games.

TMZ reports that the university, re-building and cleansing its program in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky sex-abuse scandal, has decided that a song with the lyrics "touching me, touching you" is no longer appropriate.

Though "Sweet Caroline" was inspired by Caroline Kennedy and has been a staple at venues - most famously Boston's Fenway Park - Penn State officials are being cautious about a song generally ranked among the more family friendly pop classics of the '60s and '70s.
